Beech is a highly valued and widely used wood in Europe. Its level of hardness, high abrasion resistance, strength and excellent bending ability, as well as its low price make this wood a mainstay for many European woodworkers. Given the appropriate soil conditions, beech trees can grow to enormous heights and reach a thickness of up to 3m in diameter.
Solid beech boards are pale straw-colored, sometimes with a pink or brown tint. The texture is beautiful, medium uniform, and the shine is naturally moderate. The resulting final product (e.g. furniture) will be a beautiful, bright color that fits well in any room.
Beechwood has several properties, which in many ways give the furniture an advantage over furniture made of other types of wood. One of its famous properties is that it has no smell, which is a great choice if you fill your space with a lot of wooden content, and you don’t want an excessive smell of wood.
